A standard or common theme with the earlier
V8s is to "modernise" them or make them appear to be
a later model car.
In some people's eyes this is changing what was original in the
car, to others it is updating the cars with the best features of
later
models. At the end of the day, the preservation of the marque is
about people owning, loving, using and being proud of the rich
heritage that is Aston Martin. If that is done by people updating/modifying
their cars then that is in itself a good thing as it helps continue
the enthusiasm for the cars and the marque itself.
