Aston Martin
About This
Site
This site is dedicated
to the V8 Aston Martin in all of its manifestations. The site aims
to look at the heritage of not only the engine, but also where the
first V8s styling came from in terms of the era and influences that
effected the design, development and production of what was the
last of the truly hand built Aston Martins.
We have also tried
to provide a site which aims to show people the types of things
that can be or have been done to V8s either in terms of updating
them to later specifications or in terms of providing better performance,
handling, fuel consumption, safety etc.
We have dedicated a section
of this site to racing V8s as this is an important aspect of the
V8 world and as such it deserves to be looked at in terms of it's
beginning, its successes, its failures and it's future
What this site does not do is
have any information on it or pictures relating to any Aston Martin
that does not have a V8 engine and for that we make no apologies.
We hope that you find this site
informative and interesting and we hope that for those of you who
are new to Aston Martin V8s that this site inflames the passion
that is the V8 Aston Martin.
